Some Protection Packages to think about for your new vehicle:

Should I extend my factory warranty?

If you intend on keeping your vehicle longer than 3 years, or if your loan is longer than 36 months, then you should extend the warranty at the time of the sale. It is the easiest and least expensive way to insure there will be no major expenses in the future. If you trade in your vehicle every one to three years, you probably don’t need to extend your factory warranty.

Should I have my vehicle rust- and paint-proofed? And protect the fabric too?

Definitely – All new cars are expensive! For a small fee you can protect your investment from road salt, acid rain, and all the elements that start to eat away your new vehicle the day you drive it off our lot. You spill your morning coffee, eat your lunch while driving because time is short, the kids let their ice cream drip – choose the Michigan Protection Package and include fabric protection to protect you from the day-to-day driving pitfalls. Be as proud of your car in 5 years as you are today – it helps retain resale value too!

Do I need Gap Coverage?

If your down payment is less than 15%, or you are leasing, then you should definitely consider gap coverage. Even Toyotas depreciate and the gap will pay off the difference between what you owe and what your insurance company will give you in the event of a theft or total loss. Gap will also pay your deductible up to $1,000. If your down payment is over 20% you probably don’t need gap.

Should I get credit life coverage on my loan?

If you have loved ones who will be responsible for your debt if you die, you should consider credit life coverage. Remember, you don’t choose this coverage for yourself, you choose it for you care about. Credit life is also the easiest type of life insurance to qualify for.

Should I get disability insurance?

Ask yourself:  If I become sick and unable to work, will I still be able to easily make my car payments? If the answer is no, then you should consider disability coverage.

Should I pre-pay maintenance?

Do you normally have your vehicle serviced here at Rinke Toyota? Are you on a tight budget? If so, consider pre-paid maintenance. It can be designed to fit your driving needs.

Be sure to ask your salesperson about these protection packages! Protect yourself and your investment.
